I stayed with Tashi and Lhamo Dondhup and their baby at the Hyangsa Tibetan Refugee Camp in the Pokhara region of Nepal in 1982. I started many pastel portraits of Nepalese people on this 7-week journey. Lhamo and her daughter were done from photos however.
