“Primary Colors” was painted as a demo over four days at the Southeast Alaska State Fair in 2021. It is part of a series on color. I did “Still Life in Yellow” a few years back in order to try out all the different yellows I have in tubes....
This painting was begun as a plein air study during the Oil Painters of America Great American Paint Out, Sept. 1, 2019 in my yard. Finished a year and a half later.
